TriMark Legal Funding LLC is happy to announce that its annual $2,000 Financial Literacy NOW Scholarship is open and accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year.

Financial Literacy NOW Scholarship
TriMark Legal Funding’s $2,000 Financial Literacy NOW Scholarship is available to undergraduate college students and incoming freshmen enrolled for the 2024-2025 school year at an accredited college or university within the United States.
How To Apply
- Choose a financial literacy or financial education topic of personal interest to you
- Research your topic and learn all you can about it; we’ve gathered a bunch of helpful resources to help get you started, or you can find your own
- Prepare and record a brief video to share what you know
- You may frame your message in the context of a Public Service Announcement or any other creative format
- Your message should be directed at college-age young adults. Your goal is to inform, educate, engage, inspire, and persuade
The submission deadline is 11:59 pm September 15, 2024.
The winning submission will receive a $2,000 scholarship.

Applicant Requirements
ELIGIBLE applicants must be:
- A currently enrolled undergraduate student or incoming freshman pursuing a four-year degree at an accredited college or university within the United States
- At least 18 years of age on the date the application is submitted
- Able to provide proof of enrollment and contact information
- A US citizen or have legal authorization to reside and study in the US
INELIGIBLE applicants are:
- Employees of TriMark Legal Funding LLC and their children
- Applicants who refuse to complete a brief questionnaire TriMark Legal Funding uses to announce its winners
- Past recipients of the Financial Literacy NOW Scholarship
Guidelines
Length
- Your video must be at least 1.5 minutes long but not longer than 3 minutes
Intent
- Bring a fresh perspective to your topic in a creative way that engages, informs, educates, intrigues, inspires, and maybe even entertains your peers. BE ORIGINAL.
- Help your peers understand why financial literacy is such an important topic and why they need to embrace it now
- The winning submission will convey a thoughtful, well-researched, well-organized, high-impact message
Technical Considerations
- Your video must be in English
- The video should be recorded in a well-lit area
- Audio should be clear, understandable, and free from background noises
- Applicants must appear in their video
- Clearly state your full name, the name of the scholarship (Financial Literacy NOW Scholarship), and the title of your message at the beginning of your video
- Do not place yourself in physical danger while recording your video
- Do not video or reproduce any copyrighted or trademarked material
- Generative AI and auto-generated content, images, and video are prohibited
- Media editing tools are allowed, but the winner will be chosen on the quality and content of the message; not on video editing expertise or lack thereof
- After you are satisfied with your video, upload it to your YouTube account as either listed or unlisted
- Provide the video link URL when you submit your application form
Selecting The Winner
The selection process does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected class.
The selection committee will try to announce the winner within 45-60 days following the deadline. However, the committee reserves the right to modify this timeframe should it become necessary due to a significantly higher-than-expected volume of submissions received.
Notification
The 2024 Financial Literacy Now Scholarship winner will be notified by email, text, or phone.
after the winner has been selected and notified, a press release will be issued, and a notice will be posted to the TriMark Legal Funding blog. This page will also be updated.
If the selected winner cannot be reached or does not complete the steps to accept the award within 14 calendar days from the original award announcement date, the scholarship will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected and notified.
The scholarship award check will be payable to and sent via USPS to the winner’s school.
Checks cannot be made payable to, or be sent directly to, the winner.
Data Collection, Use, and Permission
While collecting some personal information for identification and communication purposes is required, applicants’ personal information will never be sold or distributed to any third party outside the scope of the Scholarship Program.
TriMark Legal Funding reserves the right to use the winner’s name, school name, photo image or likeness, and winning video submission publicly on its website(s), press releases, social media, digital marketing, etc., without limitation or additional compensation as part of any future promotional efforts for the Financial Literacy NOW Scholarship.
TriMark Legal Funding staff cannot accept phone calls, emails, text messages, or other communications, nor can they answer any questions regarding the scholarship, eligibility, or status of applications. All relevant scholarship information is on this page.
