TriMark Legal Funding provides pre-settlement and post-settlement lawsuit loans to seriously injured plaintiffs in most, but not all, states throughout the United States.
Some States Prohibit Legal Funding
Legal funding is a great option for injured plaintiffs, if they can get it.
Unfortunately, not everyone can.
There can be any number of reasons why someone may be ineligible for legal funding. Individually speaking, there are lots of reasons why a person’s case could be denied for funding or determined to be ineligible.

States That Do Not Allow Legal Funding
Usually this is because the state’s legislature has passed a statute or law that directly, or indirectly, puts the smack-down on legal funding.
In these states, legal funding is just not a possibility. There are no exceptions, no workarounds, and no secret handshakes. If you reside in one of these states, legal funding cannot help you. You will need to use alternative financing to get the financial help you need.
Thankfully, the list of states where legal funding is prohibited is relatively short.
And look on the bright side. Just because you can’t get legal funding doesn’t mean you haven’t found the solution to your financial problems.

And Now, For The Good News
Not everyone is going to qualify for legal funding; not even close. That’s just a fact. There are about a thousand good reasons why that’s true, but the bottom line is that there are plenty of good people who apply for legal funding and don’t get approved. So you’re not alone.
The important thing to remember is that if you can’t get the legal funding you need, for whatever reason, don’t take it personally. And, above all, don’t let it get you down. The good news – what we like to refer to as “The TriMark Difference”, is that for the last 20+ years, TriMark has been actively building a large, comprehensive network of specialized financial solutions providers. All for the purpose of helping people just like you to get the financial help they need, right when they need it most.
“The TriMark Difference” – which is what differentiates us from every other legal funding company in the United States – is that TriMark doesn’t consider legal funding ineligibility or a denial to be the end of the relationship. Or even the end of the conversation for that matter. In fact, far from it.
Twenty Years of “Same Ole, Same Ole”
Not to say that our clientele or target market is all the same, because it’s not, obviously. But in a certain way, it kind of is.
From the “10,000 foot view” perspective, we could conservatively estimate that over the last two decades, TriMark has probably interacted with between 8 and 10 million people who all shared at least one thing in common.
And that one thing is this: Just about every single person who has interacted with TriMark has done so because they were (or still are) in “dire financial straits”. In other words, they are in urgent need of immediate financial assistance. Perhaps you can relate.
People are drawn to legal funding, at least initially, because it doesn’t require a credit check. It makes sense too, because by the time they reach us, they’re usually maxed out with debt, their savings are gone, they’re behind on bills, they may or may not still have a vehicle, their living situation might be in peril, their credit is shot, and they couldn’t borrow another dime from a traditional bank or lending institution if their life depended on it.
Oh, and they all need money, like, YESTERDAY.
But we’re here to solve problems, right?
Solutions, Solutions, And More Solutions
So that’s what we did. Over the years, TriMark has amassed an impressive array of strategic partnerships with a broad range of little-known prime, non-prime, sub-prime, and secondary-market lenders and financiers, nearly all of whom are not affiliated with the legal funding industry. That means your lawsuit won’t be used as collateral either. In fact, whether you have a lawsuit or an attorney is completely irrelevant to them.
What we can say collectively about our lender network is that they’re fast, flexible, and hungry. And they like to say “yes” a lot.
These strategic partnerships allow us to serve most of the people that legal funding cannot.
If you are in immediate need of more financial help than legal funding has been able to provide, we’d like to help.
TriMark maintains a large network of private lenders that provide an array of legal funding alternatives. They are fast, affordable, and easy to qualify for.
