Yeah, I’ll be interested to see how much fight they have in them when they finally realize a couple of things:
Per federal statute that was passed into law under Obama but then was completely ignored and not enforced:
A. It is illegal for ANYONE to harbor or shield (or cause to be harbored or shielded) illegal aliens, and those who do may be punished with up to 5 years in prison.
B. In the case where the harboring individual (like a mayor) shields an illegal alien who then kills someone, the eligible punishment goes up to life in prison. And when the feds actually start enforcing THAT law, all of a sudden the mayor of San Francisco will start listening and say “whaaaaaaa?” since a woman was murdered in his city, on his watch, specifically because he ignored and refused to enforce federal immigration laws – WHICH ALREADY MAKES HIM ELIGIBLE FOR LIFE IN PRISON!
C. Despite all the claims to the contrary, the federal government DOES have the legal authority to cut off federal spending to so called sanctuary cities whenever they so choose.
It’s nothing but name-calling and saber-rattling but once billions of dollars in federal spending stops flowing to the 300+ so-called sanctuary cities and a few of their mayors get thrown in prison, they will start coming around…RAPIDLY.
