Bayer Catches A Break On $2 Billion Roundup Verdict

In Roundup case, U.S. judge cuts $2 billion verdict against Bayer to $86 million

Bayer AG caught a huge break from a California judge on Thursday. The judge reduced a previous $2 billion jury verdict and slashed the award for a couple who blamed Roundup for their cancer to $86.7 million. The move saved Bayer AG $1.9 billion.
